Kelly Adrienne Photography’s full service custom launch is near and dear to my heart. When Kelly reached out to me it wasn’t for a site design or rebrand, it was to simply fix some issues her site had been giving her for a while. Once I got into her site and dug through some key parts, I noticed that not only was her SEO on the struggle, but so was her site speed, image optimization, and just overall site navigation and flow. Even though we fixed the issues, we knew eventually their brand needed to better represent their passion and vision for all families in the Pittsburgh area. Now here we are.

This was a fast turnaround, thanks to some clear communication on goals, design, and their client experience. We were keeping the name “Kelly Adrienne” so it was just a matter of finding the perfect font pairings. They wanted something that felt like home. So we brought in a plant element to represent not just the foliage hanging through their studio space and homes, but to also represent the babies they get to watch in front of their cameras. When deciding on a color scheme, I grabbed colors from their very own images. I LOVE when a photographer comes to me needing a new look because I am then able to pull inspiration directly from their words and their work.

THEIR ONLINE HOME

Building their website around this was a breeze. Their former website didn’t contain any information about what to expect, details about them, or a gallery page that allowed future clients to see the different sessions they could experience. It was important for me to make sure we featured that AND represented the mission, vision, and passion these two have for every family that walks through their studio doors.

My goal for the site was to minimally use white as a background so that viewers could feel warm and cozy the entire time. Next was one of my favorite pieces: a hidden menu. By having a concise and detailed homepage, viewers are able to get wherever they need to go in a simple scroll. The menu is always available; it’s just not distracting. With meaningful quotes and reviews, their site truly feels like a piece of their home.
