When our clients, Pete and June Carolas, at Nautical Design Inc., acquired the company, they also inherited its dated, cluttered website. It was housed on a homemade server that they didn’t understand and couldn’t update on their own. On the backend, there wasn’t anything wrong with the site, but what viewers saw didn’t showcase what NDI really produced:

They knew they needed an online home that would be as high-end and versatile as their craftsmanship, and as inviting as their team. Additionally, we wanted to create something that would be easy to maintain and update whenever needed, that is why we chose Wix as their new website host. This spiraled into a complete rebrand that included a fresh mission statement and further visual and company outlines for new hires and partners to see. 

From day one, we eagerly anticipated comparing the original site to the new one, side by side. 

The difference is every bit as shocking as we hoped, and then some! Especially once we added in the new logo (featuring our bestie, Marty the marlin) and a color palette to match. In a sea of cool hues and crisp lines, navigating their new website is like riding a smooth wave. 

Upon launch, their website traffic went up over 1000% percent. This was reassuring, not only because it meant we were generating new traffic, but it also gave us peace of mind knowing that our 383 redirects were doing their job. 

We will show off this company for a very long time and we’re excited to showcase their project on our own fresh, new website. From vision to visuals, we took the concept for their new look and turned it into what is now a thriving online presence that features quality boat fabrication products and the excellent team that creates them.
